Quality Machine Works began in 1986 with a simple dream shared by two lifelong friends, Ronnie Pierce and Roy Corbin—to build a machine shop where quality workmanship, honest business, and strong relationships came first.
A few years later, that dream grew when a third friend, Ed Owens, joined the company. Together they constructed the first of the three buildings that now make up the Quality Machine Works facility, laying the foundation for a business that has proudly served North Alabama for nearly four decades.
A LEGACY OF QUALITY AND COMMUNITY
From the beginning, we've worked side by side with our customers, transforming ideas into reality. Whether developing prototypes, machining one-of-a-kind replacement parts, or supporting full production runs, we've built our reputation on solving problems others can't.
But Quality Machine Works has always been about more than machining. We've helped keep the local volunteer fire department operating, repaired equipment for area cotton gins, and lent a hand whenever our community needed us. Around New Market, if something breaks, chances are someone will say, "Take it to Quality."
Our front office has become more than a place to drop off parts. It's where neighbors stop in to catch up, share a story, ask for advice, or simply sit for a spell. We believe the relationships we've built over the years are just as important as the parts we've machined.
Today, while our equipment and capabilities continue to evolve, our philosophy remains unchanged: treat every customer honestly, build every part with pride, and never compromise on quality.
